Unrestricted and weightless.

Clouds grazed her skin.

A breeze ruffled her fine hair.

Cool air kissed her.

Eyes open she looked.

Took it all in.

Savoured the joy.

Laughed at the freedom.

Pinched herself.

She descended.

Skimmed tall trees.

Bumped the earth.

Closed her eyes.

Waited.

They found her.

Cold to touch.

Heart stopped.

No breath.

Another dreamer.
